How do I save? I make a list, I don't bring the kids, I buying in bulk and I also use coupons. With everything so expensive right now, we want to save as much as we can, right? especially with groceries, gas and clothing.

We were talking to other parents last night about feeling as if we're trapped in this life the world has created and we have to buy everything. You can coupon but the women I know that are serious about it spend hours doing it. It's a job and I don't have that type of time. With 5 kids, we don't buy a box of granola bars, which is one snack in the house. Can't afford it. Don't buy packaged cookies or one box of crackers. No cute little packages of fruit snacks. A lot we don't partake in and everything is in bulk. Makes on very tired. We spend over $100/month on mild alone (2 teen, 1 tween, 2 elementary drink a gallon a day). No pop, juice, etc. I agree - everything is VERY expensive. JUST SAY NO is a mantra in this household :) to our kids because they don't need everything everybody else is getting.
